Today's recipe is Pineapple pachadi
Ingredients
- Pineapple - 1 kg
- Banana (Ripe)(Nenthra Pazham) -1
- Red chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Grated coconut - 1cup
- Grapes (green) - 50 g
Tempering
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Coconut Oil- 1tsp
- Red chilli (whole) - 1
- Curry leaves - one sprig
Method
- Cut pineapple and banana into small cubes
- Put Pineapple and banana in a cooking vessel and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and water
- Cook it till soft and mashable and continue cooking on medium flame for another 8-10 minutes till it becomes thick
- Grind coconut, mustard seeds into a coarse paste.
- Add the coconut paste to the pineapple mixture. Mix it well and saute for another two minutes till the raw smell leaves. Remove from flame.
- Add the grapes to the mixture
- Serve with steamed rice.
