Pineapple Pachadi


Today's recipe is Pineapple pachadi

Ingredients
  1. Pineapple - 1 kg
  2. Banana (Ripe)(Nenthra Pazham) -1
  3. Red chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Grated coconut -  1cup
  6. Grapes (green) - 50 g
  7. Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

Tempering
  1. Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
  2. Coconut Oil- 1tsp
  3. Red chilli (whole) - 1
  4. Curry leaves - one sprig
Method
  1. Cut pineapple and banana into small cubes
  2. Put Pineapple and banana in a cooking vessel and add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and water
  3. Cook it till soft and mashable and continue cooking on medium flame for another 8-10 minutes till it becomes thick
  4. Grind coconut, mustard seeds into a coarse paste.
  5. Add the coconut paste to the pineapple mixture. Mix it well and saute for another two minutes till the raw smell leaves. Remove from flame.
  6. Add the grapes to the mixture
  7. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add red chilli and curry leaves for a minute. Pour the seasoning over the pineapple pachadi.
  8. Serve with steamed rice.
